THEIA Project was successfully presented at the Research and Innovation Symposium for European Security and Defense (RISE-SD 2026) in Varna, Bulgaria. Our coordinator, Liza (Elissavet) Panagiotopoulou, presented THEIA’s vision and progress, highlighting how Artificial Intelligence and Earth Observation can enhance Copernicus Security Services and support crisis management related to population displacement. The event provided a valuable opportunity to engage with key stakeholders from across the European security and defence ecosystem and to contribute to discussions on innovation, resilience, and data-driven decision-making.
