THEIA has been featured by the European Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA) as part of its spotlight on EU-funded projects enhancing Europe’s preparedness for emerging crises. The feature highlights THEIA’s role in strengthening the Copernicus Security Services through the integration of Earth Observation data, non-space information, and advanced Geospatial Artificial Intelligence (GeoAI). By combining multi-source data and cloud-based processing, THEIA supports the early detection of anomalies, improves risk assessment, and enables timely, evidence-based decision-making. The project contributes to reinforcing Europe’s strategic autonomy in Earth Observation and enhances the operational capabilities of key stakeholders, including SatCen, Frontex, and national authorities, in addressing complex challenges such as population displacement driven by conflicts, climate change, and other crises.
