We are delighted to share that the THEIA EU Project was showcased at the BEYOND Expo 2026, one of the leading technology and innovation events in Southeast Europe. During the exhibition, our Project Coordinator, Liza (Elissavet) Panagiotopoulou, represented THEIA and engaged with researchers, industry leaders, policymakers, and technology experts to discuss how GeoAI, Earth Observation, and multi-source data fusion can enhance next-generation Copernicus Security Services.
THEIA is developing innovative capabilities to support crisis management related to forced population displacement by integrating satellite imagery, non-space data, Artificial Intelligence, and advanced analytics into a unified platform for improved situational awareness and decision-making. Participation in BEYOND 2026 provided an excellent opportunity to raise awareness about THEIA, strengthen collaboration with the European innovation ecosystem, and exchange ideas on the future of AI-powered security solutions.
